The following system environments are required for playing downloaded MPEG4 video clips.Windows Media(TM) Player (Version 6 or later)* Users of a version earlier than Ver. 6 must Download an upgraded version of Windows Media(TM) Player from Microsoft's Web page. Double-click on the downloaded file for installation. Follow the instructions on the screen during installation.* When playing an MPEG4 video clip for the first time, Windows Media(TM) Player automatically starts Downloading drivers for both image and sound or occasionally just a driver for sound, depending on the version. Follow the instructions on the screen. When Downloading is complete, an MPEG4 video clip begins to play. (No additional installation is necessary.) In addition, Downloading will fail if no connection to the Internet is established. Establish a connection before proceeding to play an MPEG4 video clip. This connection is not necessary after performing a second playback.Windows Media(TM) Player for Macintosh (Mac OS 8 or later)* Users not having a Windows Media(TM) Player for Macintosh must Download the software from Microsoft's Web page. Double-click on the downloaded file for installation. Follow the instructions on the screen during installation.* To play MPEG4 video clips, it is recommended to start the Windows Media(TM) Player for Macintosh first before opening a Windows Media(TM) file (with .asf extension). A double-click on Windows Media(TM) file (with .asf extension) may not trigger the Windows Media(TM) Player.* Microsoft(R) Windows(R) is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation in the U.S.A and other countries. * Apple, Apple logo, Macintosh, and Mac are registered trademarks of Apple Computer, Inc. in the U.S.A. and other countries.
