A large company with a capital building project wanted to remotely monitor progress on site via its corporate WAN to prevent unnecessary visits by management. The hardware consisted of 6 VN-C30U IP cameras around the building, inside and out.
At 9am, 12 noon, and 4pm, each camera would take up to 6 hi resolution images at different angles to give a time-lapse progress report, which can be viewed as individuals on an intranet web-site, by selecting from a plan of the site, date, time and camera angle. Alternatively, now the project is complete, a time-lapse video of each camera angle has been made to show the progress. |
