Three lines of serial communication system 

Connection between JLIP devices is by special cable.

The Junction-Box makes three or more devices connection each other.

It is possible to connect devices up to 50 in same bus system.

The Junction-Box has an interface to PC.

Basic speed of communication is 9600 bps.

Command frame from control master controls slave device.

Control master can read inner informations of slave device.

Both data of control master and slave device are always 11 bytes length.

There are two kind of devices that are control master and slave device.
There are one master device and one or more slave device in the same system bus.
The control device is like a editing controller or PC.
The slave device is AV equipment like VCR or camcorder .
They are connected by JLIP cable or Junction-box.
Some device has a special cable in the package.

Any kind of computer is available.
(Special cable for each PC connects between Junction-box and PC.) 
And, PDA is also available.
(The device is needed RS232 interface.)

Timecode data is available in DV camcoder, so it is possible to go to any position precisely and automatically for editing. 
And, automatic recording is also available.
It is possible to control VCR to record, play, and select TV channel.
And, multi device recording control for long time is available.
