Nigeria Through, As Spaniards Lost Control
Losing to splashing Nigerians 6 days ago at Nantes, Spain must have had to expect a win against Paraguay before the audience of Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, Saint-Etienne, to go through to the second round.

But, through the game, being unable to control Paraguay's sticky defence and rapid counterblow, as well as failing to display their own tight organization, Spaniards just had to stand to be forced a score-less draw.

Giving away three decisive chances in the first half resisted by the accurate
