June 27th As yesterday saw the end of the First Round League sequences, the opening day of The 16th Finals welcomed the favourites Brazil and Italy who satisfied with their reasonable victories today. At Marseille, Italy had the challenge from Norway, who beat Brasil in the last game. However, mighty Blue Catenacio drove back Norwegians attack each time, while, at 18th minute, Christian Vieri hit the winner to make Italy the first country to arrive the best 8. Italy's biggest hope, Aressandro Del Piero appeared from the start the first time and showed his class acceptably.
