France and Brazil to Seme-Finals through Agony

Now starts the Qurter-Finals after seven eighth of 64 matches to be held in World Cup France 98 consumed, the first came between Italy and France,both favourites, which led the big crowd of Saint-Denis Stadium into a melting pot of lots thrill and excitement, as in the end it rushed into penalty shoot-out, the second time in the Tournament.

France led by returned Zinedine Zidane continously never ceasing their restless attacking mind, while Italy with their famous Catenacio and swift counterblows, both used up the distinctive qualities which proved their world class skills and tactics, true taste of football charms.

In the second half, as France losing some touch they showed in the first half, Italy recovered after Roberto Baggio came in. But, witnessing none of scoring scene, everything to be decided with penalty shoot-out, where France won after Italy's 5th man Luigi Di Biagio hit the cross-bar.

At Nantes, Brazil struggled in the battle against Denmark, one of the underdogs. Denmark scored the first, Brazil overcame soon, and again Den-mark overtook, finally Rivaldo scored the winner.
