| Extend your GY-HD100 uninterrupted record time
by hours. For example, an 80GB FireWire drive can
store over 6 hours of DV video, or over 7.5 hours
of HDV video, while a 40GB drive can handle more than
3 hours! It is also possible to daisy chain up to
four external FireWire drives of varying sizes to
the DR-HD100, enabling uninterrupted recording for
incredibly long durations. This function is useful
for extended shooting with the camera on a tripod.
