Sweeper heads

| During recording and playback, to reduce the block noise
which is caused by dust adhering to the heads, our HDV/DV
camcorder and recorders incorporate an advanced drum assembly
with specially designed “sweeper” heads. These
dummy heads sweep off any magnetic material dropped by
the tape or any dust that may have entered from outside
the unit. |
