*The rules of the contest originally stated that one "Video Grand Prize" and one "JVC Grand Prize" would be awarded. This year, however, three entries were judged to have conveyed a clear message, each taking a unique approach to visual expression. Even in the final round of judging, the judges found it difficult to choose one entry over another. For this reason, it was decided that the "Video Grand Prize" would be awarded to three entries for the first time in the history of the TVF.
