アクアスの概要
夕日が美しい、石見海浜公園にできた、山陰では初めての、また、規模（延床面積１０，３００ｍ2）では中四国で最大の水族館。展示生物は、生態展示を基本として、日本では３館目という珍しいシロイルカ（北極海）出雲神話縁のサメ、県魚であるトビウオなど約５００種、1万点。
しまねの海、神話の海、創造の海、冒険の海（ＣＧアニメ＋実写）、海底トンネル、レクチャーホールなどの展示コーナーがあります。
半年たらずで１００万人を突破したアクアスの来館者。
珍しい魚の生態をガイドマンで聞く来館者。
