電子図書館システムの導入理由
CD- ROM で様々な学習ができるとあって、
子供たちに人気の情報ブース。
（1） 当図書館は、学校・公民館との複合施設であり、また、障害奉仕のためということもあって、当初から最新の設備を導入する方向で検討していました。
（2） 今までにない住民サービスを行うために、電子資料の導入を図りました。おかげ様で利用者からは、大変好評です。
（3） 限られた書架スペースを有効活用するために最適と判断しました。
※ 川越市では中央図書館、川越駅東口図書館（2002 年7 月オープン）にも同じシステムが導入されています。
